Brilliant!

It was raining at the loch when I arrived, then hot sun came out and stayed for three hours. The surface became a mass of Dragonflies and Damselflies, buzzing, rattling, chasing, mating and laying. Then , joy of joys, found this Brilliant Emerald emerging from its larval case. First it was green, then brown then turned a beautiful iridescent green. After two and three quarter hours it few off into the birches! Great day!
