Almost a flower

I thought it was going to have to be another flower. In fact I was going to claim that this was our garden – but no one would have believed me. Then I found these guys.

We went on an 'Open Gardens' day in a nearby village, hoping to be a little inspired to do something more with our garden. We saw some wonderful places, nothing grand or formal, they suffer the same weather and sloping land that we do. Just simple country gardens, where things are allowed to grow where they want, many with paths and steps and hidden corners. Some were huge and some were tiny, all were a delight.
   
We’re off to the garden centre tomorrow!
