Longest day

Despite it being the longest day the weather has been awful. I started by playing reveille and sunset in Keighley town hall square for their armed forces day service, I got very wet , then was steaming as the sun came out , and then was freezing when the sun went back in!

A quick trip home to warm through and then off to Horsforth Park for the first parks job o the summer. It did stay dry but we all had difficulty keeping the music on the stands, and the stands upright. I've been warmer playing Christmas carols in Late December!

Back home now and settling down for steak and chips - a treat for Mr H for Father's Day.
