Summer Solstice

My favorite day of the year!

A wonderful weekend. The fresh air does something good to my sleep pattern. Going to bed early meant getting up earlier than normal. So, while my husband snoozed, I went on a 14 mile bike ride with my friend before she and her husband departed. Sightings of a peregrine falcon and 4 Sandhill cranes made the ride even more of a special treat!

The main event was successful yesterday, too. We all chose the 20 mile route vs. the 40.
