Ripon

We spent a lovely afternoon playing at the bandstand in Ripon.  

There used to be a large tree that hung over the bandstand, and at some point it has been chopped down.  Rather than remove the (rather big!) roots, they've carved them into characters from Alice in Wonderland - a great idea!
