mmmmmm...

Made some scotch pancakes as a wee Sunday treat today accompanied by some of my mums strawberries from her polytunnel. Usually we have crispy local bacon in the stack too but we have run out. Still very yummy though and quite a highlight to the quiet day we have had.

 

This afternoon on the dog walk I noticed one of ewes and her lamb on the wrong hill so impromptu fence fixing was done. The deer had been jumping the stock fence lazily and snapping the posts and this crafty ewe in search of grass had made a break for it. Funnily enough it’s the same one who kept jumping into the yard! Thankfully it had dried up for this as I got soaked through on the morning dog walk!!
