Garden

This afternoon, I went to visit a garden open day at Dalgonar, Dunscore. It was a delight, an artist's garden, informal and full of wild flowers as well as garden plants. There was a pond surrounded by pale yellow and white irises, and some interesting sculpture. I got carried away with the camera and nearly missed tea, which would have been a shame, since they had laid on a lovely spread. I enjoyed a cuppa in the courtyard and some good conversation before cycling back home.
