The oldest swinger

At the end of a beautiful walk following the canal in Llangollen, North Wales, I came across this fabulous swing. It has obviously been tied and retied with so many different pieces of rope and string and it is hard to say which is the original "seat". It swings out over the river, but I am ashamed to say that I wasn't brave enough to try it! The extra photo is of the Llangollen Falls, a weir a 2mile canal and riverside walk from the town and close to where the swing was.
