New places

We had a leisurely morning with Rich, his mum, me and CJ meeting up with Rich’s niece for a coffee in town.  After lunch, and after 20 years of walking round Willen Lake, I won on the exploration of somewhere slightly different.  

Despite the rain, we had a very enjoyable walk along the canal and circuited back a slightly different way via a church that Marjorie knew was serving cream teas.  Inside, it was cosy and dry with a wonderful atmosphere being created by a cellist.  After then listening to her sing, we headed back in heavier rain still, but I think we had all enjoyed it.

In the evening it was the traditional monster Chinese takeaway with most of the close family and a bit of a laugh with a card game of the TV show, Pointless.  Rich and I were rubbish but it was fun!
