How grown up does this girl look today? I noticed recently just how much she's changed recently. She's lost her kiddy tum, she's long legged, her face is losing its little girl look.

She's had a great day today. Her piano lesson wasn't her best, but she was sky high about going to see granny and grandad & all the fun things today was entailing. She was sad she didn't get her sticker but is going to work hard next week! Little learning curve for the wee pickle.

The rest of the day she has done brilliantly. To be fair, she's been centre of attention for all of it- but she needed a day of that. She had a wonderful time with her cousins at the church cafe-service. She had a great time picnicking and exploring at the folk festival with granny, grandad and I. Her and I had a long and happy time crafting in the children's tent before we reconvened with G&G for ice cream. We said goodbyes and her & I headed home in plenty of time for a play and then a leisurely tea in front of the lion king.
