Baptism

We spent a chunk of the day in Bergerac. Lots of blip opportunities with statues of Cyrano, ancient building constructions and roof patterns, reviser side scenes and artisan shops. The medieval quarter is a wonderful sight.

But this one is my favourite. We called into the Eglise de Notre-Dame where there was a multi-baptismal event going on with illuminated cross and all. Photographs being taken all over the place by families in all sort of dress, formal and informal.

As we walked around looking at the church I came across this family taking shots. The care displayed by the mother's hand, the smiles on the faces, and the alertness of the child sum up a happy day.
