Shake it loose

The official opening of the new park! We may have been using it for weeks already but today saw the cutting of the ribbon by the lovely lady who campaigned for so many years to get it done. The visit of the mayors and some freebies for the kids...oh and the rain! It's been lovely all week and then today started out damp then turned to seriously soggy! Not that it stopped the kids from carrying on. But what a shame that the fire engine that was going to be there for them to look round got called out on a job. Let's hope everyone was ok.
Once home the clothes got put in the tumble and we decided to go get some British nosh at our local 40's cafe 'The Larder' so a top day all round.
