Me and the legendary Luciano Berruti

Luciano. The warmest friendliest man you could hope to meet who started off the Italian L'Eroica and is well into his 70's. He rode a 1908 Peugeot with one brake which pressed a rubber pad to the top of the front tyre! He made the day special and kept turning up everywhere with his joyful enthusiasm. He does not speak English but communicates friendship. He showed up a recent gash on his leg that had 8 stitches in it when he came off his bike but he was back on it again and appeared to be loving every minute. I'm glad I met him.
