double header

The term double header is usually reserved to describe two baseball games played by the same two teams in one night.
We use the term around here to describe celebrating hubby's birthday and Father's Day at one meal.
His birthday was yesterday, so it is not that much of a stretch. And he did get double the presents, each one carefully labeled either birthday or Father's Day.
Our youngest daughter was with us to celebrate, our oldest joined us by phone.
And a good time was had by all!
