Putting in bedding plants at the Railway Station.
A group of seven members of Rishton Prospects panel braved the rain to plant a beautiful array of Summer bedding plants in the recycled planters at the railway station and outside the Catholic Church.
This blip shows one of the planters with the plug plants in place.
Blue lobelias, red salvias, pink bedding begonias, and trailing varigated ivy.
Some of the other planters have yellow and orange French marigolds.
It was a good morning's work, but damp and muddy! Atfer a nice hot cup of Joie de Vie tea, and a bit of Tele, Secret Garden is on, one of my favourite films, we are going shopping in Accrington.
The inside and covered outdoors market is wonderful and there is a decent M&S, New Look, WHSmiths and Wilkinsons, plus various good charity shops.
