Baby Birds

Like a nest-full of hungry baby bird mouths a maturing seed-head sprouts tiny beaks all around.  I discovered another of the multi-tiered flowers that had lost most of its blossoms and was preparing to set seed.  The bird beaks were a complete surprise!
