Great Blue Heron

We see this guy (and maybe some of his friends) every time we go paddling in the UW Arboretum. He always poses and lets people take his photo as well. Today was Seth and Amy's last day in Seattle, and we wanted to do something that wasn't touristy, that local people love to do. We went to the Besalu for breakfast pastries, then to the Ballard Farmer's Market, and then to the UW to rent canoes and paddle through the arboretum. I think they left with quite a good impression of Seattle!
