A reflective moment!
It was a perfect morning for a walk. Dry, just warm enough but with plenty of wet grasses and puddles for the dogs so they could stay refreshed.
Cara, per usual, headed for the biggest and muddiest puddle so she could enjoy a wallow but then was totally surprised and confused when she caught sight of another Golden who was similarly muddied! Either that or she realised it was herself and couldn't believe how dirty she looked!
Bruce is on Day 1 of a new training regime to try and improve the quality of walks for the three of us. In other words, to try and train him not to disappear for ages into rabbit holes which only makes me crabbit and curtails the walk for us all! First impressions are hopeful so wish me luck!
The rain has had a huge impact on the gorse and it has burst into flower everywhere with large plump blooms lighting up the landscape. The hills too were looking refreshed and clean, their blueness standing out perfectly against the not quite so grey sky.
Home now to do a bit more in the garden and hopefully to settle down to do some quilting this evening.
