Today I took my first steps on the sand

There is a funny story that my Nain and Taid often tell about my Daddy when he was a toddler. They took him to the beach, put him down on the sand and he ran as fast as he could, fully clothed, straight in to the sea.
Well today I attempted the same thing! Mummy put me down on the sand so that I could have my first steps on the beach. I found it hard on the soft sand and ended up crawling, but I did much better on the hard stuff. Whether I was crawling, toddling or running, it was always as fast as I could and always in one direction...the ocean. Needless to say, I ended up absolutely drenched right through and Mummy had to change my clothes...and hers!
