About fifteen years ago, I gave my friend Ann Sterzinger a copy of Dans le Ciel, saying she would just love it. Well, she did, and my suggestion has borne fruit. Ann's is the first-ever English translation of the great French anarchist Octave Mirbeau's 1892 novel.
