Patons' Beehive

Patons and Baldwins, the one-time manufacturer of knitting yarn, used to be one of Darlington's major employers.

It's gone now, but it's remembered as one of the heritage plaques in Darlington's Eastbourne Park.

The beehive was both the company logo and the name of the social club on the Darlington site.
