Lord Provost of Edinburgh

Have been to a few summer fairs today.............
By chance bumped into the new Lord Provost of Edinburgh at one of the fairs, who let me take a photo of the Lord Provost's ceremonial chain of office. That's a serious amount of bling to be wearing all at once. Actually thought it was very beautiful when you can see the close up detail, and all those fine diamonds!! Goodness knows what its value is...
