Constructive Playing

I'd been wondering when Lincoln would start playing with his toys 'properly' as opposed to just bashing, smashing and biting them. I saw the first glimpse of it today when he pushed all the balls rough the holes on his lion toy then picked them up and put them in at the top again. Usually he would push all three through then move onto something else.

He did something else that surprised me. He was banging an upturned bucket so I got him the stick from his music set. I showed him how to bang the bucket with it, then handed it to him. He pushed the bucket aside and grabbed the xylophone the stick goes with.
