Chief's House
Day in Gravdal where we visited Nusfjord, a fishing village preserved as it was at the end of the 19th Century, and the Lofotr Viking Museum. The blip was taken at the museum and is of the reconstruction of an important Viking Chieftain’s long house. A local farmer found Viking artefacts whilst ploughing his field and subsequently archaeologists identified it as a Viking Chieftain’s house (due to its size and the contents found).
