Lemons galore

Today was the only day of heavy rain we had in Sorrento so we did not go very far but we did manage a walk through the lemon groves in front of the hotel. Apparently the lemons here are harvested four times a year and twice for oranges. Unfortunately we didn't see any of the blossom of either as the trees were heavily fruiting.

Later we walked to Tasso Square and had a snack in one of the dripping cafes and watched people with very little rain gear negotiate the showers and the puddles everywhere! Being Brits we had packed for every eventuality!
