 get to know each other - see who's forgotten stuff' see who races off' who stops where they're told sort of day today - 16 is too big a group - we've all told HQ this but still they send them. So I was very pleasantly surprised that everyone opted for the slightly harder 1000ft climb up to the Buvet Floria this afternoon - & this is the view that rewarded them. Not bad for 16 people's first day in the Alps.
