Cardinal Fritillary

So many butterflies in forest rides and clearings in the far north-East of Armenia today...but also so many rubbish photos! I blame it partly on the heat - around 34 degrees. However, there were a few obliging individuals that perched for more that a couple of seconds, including this lovely female Cardinal Fritillary, the largest of all the different fritillaries we saw today. Sorry not able to comment much on other photos - wi-fi access has been rather patchy.
