Morel mushroom

Apparently this is a black morel mushroom and is a delicacy. The main difference between the real and the fake is a hollow stem on the real one. Least that's what the internet says. The black cap fades quickly to a light beige/brown color and the life once out of the pod is very quick, a matter of a day maybe two. The smell that I note is only apparent while the head is black. Bugs love it while it's black, all sorts of little nat like bugs crawl over it. Still not going to eat it.
