Such a softie

We were threatened with rain but all we got was a stiff breeze.

JJ set off first thing to get another quote for the slight damage to his front wing, having thought £1,000 from Mercedes at MK was a tad steep. The £200 quote from Mercedes in Bedford was accepted without a quibble.

Meanwhile, back on the ranch I was making sandwiches (sore point) and punching numbers into the house alarm keypad, when "Engineer on site" popped up on the screen, giving me a bit of a shock as I hadn't seen anyone come through the door. We OAP's can't be too careful you know. I left a note for JJ hoping he'd be able to sort it all out while I was out.

A Blipmeet at Claydon House with JohnH1989 (strangely known as John), Chantler63, Anniemay, Igor, HildaRose and her super handyman husband Rob. It was also good to meet B4UU who dropped by for coffee.

A tour of the house revealed that photography was definitely not allowed. Ha! John was like a naughty schoolboy, checking over his shoulder before firing off a couple of shots. Other tactics included distracting the room warden or shooting from the hip Kathy.

Back home, we are still going through the numbers and worse still there was no Balti paste in the fridge, so we had to have chicken supreme. Instead.
