Eryngium
The morning was spent identifying specimens and entering all of yesterday's data into spreadsheets. In the late afternoon my friend Ross came over with her daughter, as they'd been in Peterborough at a publicity event for her new book. As usual, we had plenty to talk about and the hours flew by. Not much time for photography, so this is a snatched shot of an Eryngium in the garden - I can never resist the wonderful steely blue colour and spiky shapes.
