Blue Arran

I was in Lochgilphead and Tarbert today for meetings and a surgery and came back  on the Cal Mac ferry across Loch Fyne.  The sun was shining and on the blue horizon to the south was Arran, which at this angle always presents a rugged face. 

Much of the talk today was about the sea - the new MPA management plans and the Cal Mac strike now confirmed for Friday.

The strike is very  bad news for much of my constituency  which depends absolutely on the ferries and therefore the  union and the management need to get back round the table immediately  so that a solution to their dispute can be found.
