Our Canal Boat

We have had the best time with our family on the narrow boat this weekend;   a great way to celebrate himself's 80th.    On arrival we did wonder how 9 of us would cope in such a confined space;  but it all worked out so well, despite the mixed weather and uncomfortable beds.  All back in our respective homes, apart from our eldest son who returns to Dubai tomorrow.  I'm sure we will all sleep well tonight.

We were often followed by families of swans, ducks and moorhens all looking for food.   See the extra photo of the beautiful cygnets.
