Cheating

Starting my back-blipping catch up with a complete cheat as this photo was not taken on the correct day - but does depict something which happened that day instead. Matthew and I took a walk with his aeroplane push along / ride on toy - and on the way home one of the wheels fell off! It does go back on but remains wobbly.

In the afternoon Mike took a half day off so we could finish packing and set off on the train to Birmingham to start our holiday with a night at Uncle James' house. Matthew was very impressed with the magic stairs at New Street Station and in the Bullring shopping centre (where he kept trying to independently toddle off). He had great fun in the car asking James to open and close the electric windows too - though had to be reminded to say please.

Once he was in bed the rest of us enjoyed a rather good takeaway and a chat before bed.
