R.I.C.E.
Day 3 of the calf strain and whilst I was OK for most of the day - felt like it was healing and I wasn't overdoing it - late this afternoon I stumbled on a step at work and basically re-tore it :-(
So I've set my recovery back a couple of days...
I'm following the sports injury mantra of R.I.C.E. (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation). The ice part is a bit tricky in the office / hotel so I'm improvising with icy spray.
