Camera Shy

Even less time for a walk today. Its the annual Lepra Edinburgh to St. Andrews Ride tomorrow, and I have still to finish packing my panniers.

I was wondering what to take a picture of, and thankfully I came across one of the Water of Leith herons preening itself. I like this photo as it looks like the heron is a little camera shy. Damn paparazzi.

Right on cue, as the afternoon progresses, it gets colder as the clouds move in and the wind turns northerly. It was still reasonably comfortable when I cycle home, but by 8pm, it is definitely chilly.
