Unter Den Linden - sort of ........

First days back are never entirely comfortable, and I had made it a rule not to look at any e-mails whilst away. The technology just makes this so easy to do, but it requires some discipline to not do it. But it means the return has some surprises in store, and a lot of catching up.

So this photo is a "quickee", but has some connection to my last week. Ten mature lime trees line Chorley Rd in front of the Civic, so it would be appropriate to call this Swinton's own Unter Den Linden (Under the Lime Trees), also the name of one of Berlin's most impressive thoroughfares.
