A's big day!

Attended the Carnegie Kate Greenaway ceremony at the British Library, where Mel Giedroyc and A presented the UK's premier children's book awards. As chair of the judges, A had to give a speech and the prospect of doing so had been terrifying her for months but Mel was really supportive and it went really well. She was also happy for K to hang out in the dressing room beforehand so, as well as the autograph and selfie, K will have a lot to talk about at school tomorrow!

All in all, a fascinating experience and, sorry, I can't help being terribly proud of my wife today!
