Abandoned

J&N's house is near the coast between Dawlish and Teignmouth. I walked from the house this morning to pick up the South West Coastal Path to follow the coastline for a few miles. Much better morning, less wind and some sunshine.

After a while I cut inland and followed an old track back towards Dawlish. I came across a garden/allotment that had seen better days. Found this lovely old pot with ivy growing in and around it.

It certainly isn't local pottery! Reminded me more of Africa although the pattern is perhaps too elaborate.
