Birthday Treat

Today I took my mum on a tour of the Edinburgh Playhouse. It was a birthday present, today was the first Saturday we were both free to go since her Birthday is in January!
The tour was spectacular! Learning the history of one of my favourite buildings in the city. The tour included a close up of the stage and set of Oliver, the staging was magical!
We then went for lunch in another of my favourites the Portrait Gallery!
I'm heading over to Glasgow in a bit for a friends 30th- I've baked a cake with the help of my old friends M&S!
This photo is of the pully systems that the play house operates for the scenery, there can be over 50 different items of scenery hanging from the roof in any one production!
