Above the city

Too much black ice around for my liking today. I see there are 3 people dead on Canterbury roads today. I guess it caught a few out.

Negotiating the rubbish bins out the gate and onto the kerb was enough outside action for me this morning. That nearly ended in tears a potential fracture but I managed to stay upright. Back inside for a bit of housework. It wasn't hard to choose that option!

The little fur child visited his personal physician the vet. I tagged along to pay for it all ;-) Sadly he has a heart murmur that may not bode well for his future.

But for now he's my mate and he's fine.

I popped up the hills this afternoon. It was cold but peaceful and lovely. Tomorrow I start my new job :-)
