one perfect day...

...by the Swan River (named for these beauties).

A wonderful hour or so lazing by the riverside after an few hours pottering in Subiaco, a buzzing ( and trendy!) suburb of Perth: 

-firstly an appointment with  R getting measured for 'flight stockings' (for the perfect plane journey)...apparently a very good idea after all the buso last year.

-then a visit to the 'Japanese Green Tea Shop' for more supplies and T's enthusiastic welcome with numerous tastings  (perfect) with a Raw Food producer who uses organic matcha in her creations.

-then a lunch soup of 'pasta/bluecheese/fennel'...which might have been the blended leftover contents of the chef's fridge and surprisingly perfect!

-and finally a doze on a bench by the river (perfect) as the swans paddled by and stomped the river weed before going bottom up to graze.
