Up on the cliffs
Lots of flowers up on the cliffs at the moment, drifts of blue squill and sea pinks (thrift), yellow bird's foot trefoil and tiny wild violets. We had a lovely long walk, the air was full of the sound of gulls, fulmars, terns, oyster catchers, curlews, larks and eider ducks. Several bonxies, great skuas, overhead too.
After the horrendous weather yesterday, over an inch of rain in the afternoon, it was wonderful to be able to be up there, even though I did have several layers on!
