Down By The Yarra

After a fair bit of anticipation, tonight I finally made it into town to buy my new lens. The 40-150mm f2.8 is supposed to be a bit of a beast, and I thought that I might be able to put it to good use at the wedding that I'm taking later in the year. Coupled with the fact that I can now pay the mortgage for another year, having some lightbulb money come in, and knowning someone that works in JBHIFI that gave me an incredible deal, it just had to happen.

I actually didn't even put it on, but I did stop off by the Yarra to take a few shots with my regular lens. I'll play with the new toy tomorrow!
