A live history lesson!

Today the headmaster is at the battlefields of Waterloo fulfilling a  long term teaching commitment to pupils he used to teach a 'long time ago'.

However, he had managed to engage with some re-enactor 'Rifflemen' who joined this live 'FaceTime' history lesson with Year 4. It was amazing and the children were able to ask and have answered their questions!

Philip and I helped out a few times in Tewkesbury at the re-actments there (cooking BBQ's!), and it was always an amazing atmosphere. He would have thoroughly enjoyed this live lesson, as the children did!
