Fair division of labour
Carnival costume workshop after school. Small girl did the cutting, I did the (hot) gluing, amidst heated (sorry...) protests from a 7 year old who insisted that it was not hot (it really was). You'll be pleased to hear that it was much easier than the lantern making was last year. Spoiled for blips really but chose this one, neatly photobombed by the girl, with her yellow hair-elastic matching the yellow foam.
In other news, I've put a long-list of photographs together for the 2016 Caenhill Countryside Calendar. Hopefully it will soon become a shortlist, then with the aid of Facebook groups it will become a shorter list and Chris can move on with organising design and printing. Even with the current changeable weather it felt very odd to be thinking about images for the cooler months.
