Summer snow

The undoubted highlight of the day was lunch with Colin and Sheila.  Their summer has been massively disrupted by Colin's foot which is broken.  It required an operation involved plates and wires to fix.  He is in pain much of the time.  I would say he's philosophical about it but he's not.  Still thinking about all the things he hasn't been able to do.

I have decided I have become a long lunch person.  We started at 1 and left around 5.  Perfect.

The snow in summer is an avalanche at the moment tumbling over the wall just as it supposed to.
