Pub garden

Quick snap after a very jolly couple of hours in the pub with a colleague who joined the company shortly after me. As it turned out she and I hold very similar views on most subjects, we laughed a lot. And confused the serving boy when we asked if we could have the starter mussels as a main course. He went off in the search for bigger bowls before he could confirm.

Otherwise a productive day. Talked to Will's head of year at his new school next year after the school moved all their intro meetings to when I am away this week. After checking to see how Daisy is at high school she confirmed he will be in a class with his best friends, has a teacher described by Daisy as "very nice" and is in the same house Daisy was in. This last point was apparently v important to Daisy as "all the other houses are rubbish". So good news all round then. Will is essentially completely unbothered by all this news.
