Brussels

Awoke just past 3am to the sound of a vomiting child. Spent most of the next few hours checking on the sick girl rather than getting any sleep. Then the hubby took off for pre-op at the hospital while I finished packing and ran errands. Picked my boss up at the DUS airport by noon and drove with her to Brussels where we have a conference for the next 2 days. But seems the city is packed with Europeans debating the future of Greece while conference organizers are stranded in the UK as Eurostar service is disrupted by strikes in Calais.

Never a dull minute in my days.
