On Flanders fields

I cycled to the Botanics today, and wandered around in the sun. It was actually rather pleasant and quite spring like. In the gardens outside the glasshouses there is a wildflower area created last year to represent the fields of Flanders in Belgium. It is just coming into full colour with red Poppies, blue Cornflowers and yellow Daisies. I liked the contrast with the slender trunk of the tree.
