He paused for a split second with the bread in his beak, as if to thank me !
Sparrows came too - but they are not as cheeky!
Almost a day without rain!! and the wind has, thankfully, dropped.
So tackled the garden with gusto, remembering Monty Don's advice on the Chelsea Chop.
Went to a meeting to "wrap up" the village Jubilee arrangements - it was important to make sure people were thanked for their contributions to the celebrations etc.
So now it really is all over - what will we do? !!!
